Can anyone tell me, once the sample has been allocated to a Sarcoma pahologist, how long it takes usually for results in reality? We have been told it can take up to 6 weeks - but have already waited 9, surely that cannot be correct!

Sorry you are still waiting, sometimes a test can get referred for a second opinion and that can take a bit longer but in your position I would definitely follow up, perhaps see your GP and ask them to chase might be a good start.
