Evening everyone. I have just began my radiotherapy treatment, I am on day 2 of 25 then will be having my surgery 6weeks after the last session. I am just wondering how others have dealt with side effects. I have sarcoma on my knee, and although I am only on day 2 I already have increased pain in the area and my knee gave way when I got out of the car following today's appointment. I will of course mention this to my nurses, but has anyone experienced similar this early on during treatment please. Sending love to everyone on their own journeys
Hi Danniwales
That sounds really difficult, not something we ever experienced but in the past I have had occasional issues with nerves getting pinched and causing various limbs to go numb - that can be really quite worrying in its own right of course.
Hope the nurses can help with your appointment today.
<<hugs>>
Steve
Thankyou for your reply. The nurses are all very helpful and hopefully it is all just my body getting used to the new way of life!
