Hi everyone,
I have had a large lump removed recently and I’m currently awaiting my results. Have been told this could take up to 6 weeks. Is this normal?
Hi Bex500 welcome to the forum. The waiting around for results is the worst part of being in some kind of limbo. I'm.not familiar with your type of Cancer but by my replying it will pop it onto the thread. However, it depends where the biopsy has to go to, ie the distance for laboratories etc , for this to be reported back on and your Team see the results come up with a plan then meet with you, maybe 6 weeks seems reasonable for all that to happen. I know that's not easy to here as you just want things back ASAP but it will happen. Sending very best wishes your way for now.
