Hi. Has anyone experience of obtaining treatment outside of the uk please preferably the EU. Oncolytic virus therapy, RIGVAR, DCT etc - thank you
Hi Elspet,
Sorry that I cannot really answer your question, what sort of sarcoma do you have?
You might like to contact sarcoma uk too as they might have information that might help.
My wife was lucky to be treated in Oxford, she has Leiomyosarcoma and for her the 2nd round chemotherapy managed to render her cancer stable and she has now been living with cancer for over 10 years.
<<hugs>>
Steve
Hi Steve. Thanks for your reply. Your wife is doing extremely well. My daughter in laws sarcoma is an aggressive malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumour which has spread to her lungs. After the chemo finishes she could have a trial immunotherapy drug but it’s just buying more time so looking at personal vaccine treatments which are standard in Germany etc but not here ss yet. Sarcoma UK aren’t able to help on this
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
