Background -
*diagnosed in oct 22 with ulms stage 4 with mets in lungs and lesions in my liver.
*Oct - feb 23 - x6 rounds of doxorubicin - lungs mets reduced dramatically, womb stable and liver stable.
* March 23 - full hysterectomy and histology showed womb only had cancer - it hadn’t spread to ovaries or tubes etc
* MRI in May sadly showed mets to spine and I received some radiotherapy
* CT scan 2 weeks ago.
So saw my oncologist today the CT shows that the mets to my lungs have grown again and some more! Liver is still stable and obviously have this new issue of mets in my spine in 6 areas. He has suggested Gemcitabine and Docetaxel and Denosumab for bones.
Have others had this combination? How was it ?

My wifes LMS responded a bit too well to doxorubicin since some of the cancer cells it killed formed the lung wall. Still they managed to fix the side effects there and decided to try Gemcatabine as a single agent - and it made her cancer stable. Not had treatment in quite some time but then there is no evidence of progression either and she is in really rather good health generally.
