I had a sarcoma in my right thigh removed three months ago but have noticed recently that my foot has been swelling, it gets bigger if I am on my feet all day but the swelling is constantly there. Could it be a side affect of my surgery and should I see my gp about it.
Hi hope you are doing OK after your op? I had a leiomyosarcoma removed from my thigh just over two and a half years ago. I had the same issue after the op, my ankle and foot swelled up if I walked too long. It's settle down now. Speak to your gp or specialist nurse for advise as everyone reacts differently. Take care
I will mention it too my gp when I see them next as its swollen all the time just gets worse when it's hot or I'm on my feet all day. I am doing ok thankyou hope your doing ok aswell. They sent my sarcoma off too be tested but all they could tell me was that it was a spindle cell sarcoma as they couldn't identify what specific type it was.
Glad to hear you are doing OK. Hopefully you will get your results soon. I am OK thank you. Take care.
