Hi Kate 26 I had a punch biopsy on a basal cell near my eye, top of nose area with 2 stitches. It looked realy tiny and I had stitches out. Then 6 weeks later when I went for follow up appointment the results were a bcc and Consultant couldnt believe how it had grown in 6 weeks. I then had operation to remove it and had a skin graft. That was nearly 3 years ago and it is fine now, all healed and hardly visible. Have they said what the nbiopsy showed whether it wasa bcc or not. Have you got to go back to the hospital for results. x
Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm 3 weeks post biopsy so I'm still awaiting my results. My GP said bcc doesn't grow that fast but it obviously can! She took photos and forwarded them to my consultant
