Eyebrow raised after BCC removed from forehead

Hi fifi67, I had a large sclerosing bcc removed from the centre of my forehead with MOHS in March. Because of the positioning of the wound, both my eyebrows were considerably raised in the centre looking very odd indeed! I would like to offer you reassurance that within around 4 weeks the swelling had subsided hugely and my eyebrows had retuned to their original position. Thanks so much for your reassurance Trish123! Hopefully mine will do the same. Out of curiosity how is your scar now? I didn’t have MOHS but the excision was done by a very experienced plastic surgeon so hopefully the scar won’t be too obvious in time. It was quite a small BCC but I know they have to still remove quite a large area to get clear margins etc. Thanks again! 

A friend's dad had this happen a few months ago. He has showed me pics and yes, it was noticeably raised just after but did move back down once the stitches and swelling had gone. 

About to have the same procedure, did this improve in time?

I have just done Mohs surgery to remove a tiny BCC feom my forehead too, and my eyebrow from the side of the BCC is clearly raised as well :o 

How did it end for you? Did it got back to normal?

Look after 4 weeks more or less, it goes well .

I did it on 20 august and today 12 september is almost at the same level, i'd say 95%, it is only noticeable when we really observe, people around would not notice unless u tell them and they stare at you to verify ehehe

I’ve only had mine done yesterday but the eyebrow is just so noticeable. My surgeon did say it would go down but it’s just so obvious now. You’ve really given me a bit more reassurance so thank you!
