BCC on scalp - can I wash my hair?

ive had a bcc removed from my scalp.

I presume you mean you still have the lesion and haven’t had any surgery yet?

I had mine for quite a while and to be honest it was quite large as I was treated for something else first. I just washed my hair as usual whilst waiting for it to be removed. It was awfully itchy and I got relief from washing my hair and I wasn’t told any different

Hey there Poppy and thanks for responding. 
Yes, I still have my lesion and have been washing my hair as normal. It doesn’t itch at all (lucky I guess) so I will just continue I think. Having dirty greasy hair doesn’t help to remain positive  Still early days for me and don’t really know what to expect so fingers crossed.

Mine has all healed Janet, It is a bit of a pain after it’s removed with washing but they will give you advice and hopefully will just be in the short term
