Hi, so for the past few months I have been having some strange symptoms. Sweats, weight lose, fatigue, itchy skin, unexplained bruises over my legs, nose bleeds, swollen lymph node in neck and just generally feeling unwell. I have had blood tests, chest X-ray, and a chest and neck ultrasound. And I am currently waiting for my biopsy date to have the node removed. I got my ultrasound results back today and it says that I have a lymph node in my neck that has an abnormally rounded appearance with an abnormal heterogeneous echotexture. Could someone please explain what this means? I have had a little look on google but I can’t seem to find any answers
Hi
It could take a day or so to get a reply but you may be better off asking the Macmillan Nurse to explain those ultrasound results ?
You can find the Ask an Expert (Nurse) area here. They are mostly up to speed with the 'tech talk'
Good Luck, whatever it means, G n' J
