Hi everyone
I am new here but wanted to ask a question about Aldara cream.
I have had surgery for 2 Basal cell carcinomas, and Picato cream for sun damage on my nose.
Recently my dermatologist treated a further 3 lesions with cryotherapy to be followed 2 weeks later by a 6 week course of Imiquomod /Aldara cream. 5 days on then 2 days off.
My doctor advised me of the side effects and although not pretty, the eruptions would show it was working.
I am now into week 3 and absolutely nothing has happened. No reddening, irritation or inflammation of any kind, it could be moisturiser.
Should some sort of reaction have happened by now? Is there any point in continuing if it’s not doing anything?
I don’t have a follow up appointment until August.
Basically has anyone else used this cream and had no reaction ?
Many thanks
Thanks for sharing your experience
Hope you're keeping well

Hi
I think I will resume, it can’t do any harm. Thanks for the advice x
Hi Rebecca
Thank you for posting your advice, I will definitely start using it tonight.
I hope you’re free of lesions now

Thank you Gillie and please do let me know if you want to have any more Aldara conversations! xx
