As the title says, I had my prostatectomy 8 weeks ago. There is bit of a timeline in my profile.
My follow up appointment is in just under 2 weeks, and I will also have my first PSA test since the surgery then. I have to admit that I do stress about what the news will be. I tend to over think things, although of course "what will be will be".
Shouldn't complain, only the occasional drop and incontinence was a worry for me. Cycling is one of my main hobbies, and I was worried that may be a bit difficult if incontinence was a major issue.
Hello FairWeatherCyclist
Welcome to the group, although I am so sorry to find you joining us.
As someone who still has 90% of his prostate (the NHS keep taking bits!) I wish you well moving forward - at least you won't need the TURP operation now (been there got the T-Shirt!).
There are plenty of cyclists on here and they continue to amaze me with their 35/50 miles a day - my wife banned me from my bike after I kept falling off!!
I wish you well in 2 weeks - do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.
