Hi, I'm new on this forum.

my Prostate Cancer summary is in my biography but  briefly; diagnosed Spring 24, robotic Surgery Sept 24, Nov 2025 PSA 0.2 and then PSMA scan Dec 2025 identified need for further treatment to address residual cancer in Prostate bed.

Just completed my 21 day course of Bicalutamide tablets and have had 1 of my 3 monthly jabs. Whilst I have no side effects so far but reading through the vast fountain of knowledge on this forum, i can see the side effects this time round can range from nothing to hot flushes, muscle waste, fatigue etc so I am looking to establish an exercise plan to help prepare for what's round the corner and minimise the impact of any side effects.

So my question to this forum does anyone have a fitness plan they can share or recommend resources from which one can be developed?

Currently average over 14,000 steps a day through dog walking and golf but clearly need a more complete exercise plan.

Thanks in advance Thumbsup

  • nothing specific  but add resistance training 2 to 3 times a week, major muscle groups

    chest/bench press

    arms/bicep curls

    shoulders/shoulder press

    legs/squats

Always allow at least a day or two between exercising the same muscles.
