Thanks all for replying to my post. There is no obvious blood in Semen so it must becoming from my Kidneys.

    Kind regards James.

  • Hello James

PCa is the correct term for Prostate Cancer (it has another medical meaning too) but we use it on Here for Prostate Cancer.

    Best wishes - Brian.

  • Hello James.

Thank you for the reminder that I must be more careful with the use of TLA's (3 letter anachronisms). The blood could be coming from anywhere along the urinary tract, all the way from the kidneys, down the ureters, into the bladder and finally down the urethra which leads to the outside through your penis. There are many causes from irritation as a result of procedures like your cystoscopy, infection which you are having checked out, stones which your previous tests would have ruled out, but also from medication like aspirin. It is good that it was picked up at the doctor's surgery and I am sure that everything will be fine. Please let us know the results.

    Kind regards.

  • Just got the test results back. No infection and no blood. My Doctor rang me up from his home as they were late in. He is so good with me.

    Kind regards James.

  • Hello it's me again back with the same old problem. I had been having some terrible pain at times especially in the end of my Penis and getting up 4 times a night. This started about 6 weeks ago. Then the pain suddenly stopped about two weeks ago at a weekend and I did not need to get up during the night. However on the Monday after I was shocked to find blood in my urine. i went to Casualty and they took samples and said there was some blood showing up. The blood tests all came back as normal so they sent me home. They said it might have been a Kidney Stone. My GP seems to think otherwise and went on that Cancer can cause bleeding so he has referred me to Urology again. I am having a PSA test on Wednesday and a Cystoscopy on the 6th of November. I am terrified now. I have been diagnosed with Health Anxiety last week. So sorry to bother you all again.

    Puzzled.

    Kind regards James.

  • Hi Ret

I see u first posted a year ago and have accumulated many pages,

What were your stats a year ago,  staging, PSA , etc. you said that you were diagnosed a year ago so have u  been monitored during this past year, mainly PSA I assume.

    Regards

    Steve

  • Hello again James. I am glad that you have had many months without having to think about your prostate, kidneys or bladder but you did right to get things checked out at hospital. It sounds as if your doctor is continuing to look after you and you know what to expect from the tests as you have had them before but please let us know the results. Brian (Millibob) is away on holiday at the moment and having difficulty getting on line so he will not be ignoring you if you don't hear from him straight away. Don't forget, you are one of the family and we will try and help you through the next steps but I really hope you have the same outcome as before.
