My husband has just been diagnosed with prostrate cancer. I am trying to be positive and strong he has just started treatment has a bone scan next week and then a biopsy to follow soon how do I help my family especially one son who has taken the news very bad . I have told him that consultant said it is treatable but he is still very upset I wondered if anybody knows of any zoom meeting that could help

Hello Linda
Sorry about the horrible news, being on here is a good way of getting information and help. There are many once he has had his biopsy and knows what he has to deal with, who will have had the same and their here still giving advice like me many years later.
Its good your being positive, there will be some treatments to come for him but this is all part of fighting this disease. Remember he’s still the same person and will be always, he will need some help ( even though he says he’s fine ) some times, as he’s starting out make a list of questions you want answering, it’s a good way of finding out what will happen.
We are always here do not know if any uses zoom I’am on an iPad but just look at my profile, helped and gave information to many many wives and husbands and other sufferers. This is a very slow growing cancer so do not panic time is on his side.
keep safe
Joe
