Hi all been looking through my hospital letters as i don't think i took everything in. My first worry is the bulging tumour poss
extra capsular spread just hope that can be sorted out with radiotherapy.Does the hormone therapy stop it from spreading and growing.
My second worry is that since i've been on zoladex injections i can no longer climax although its good for mrs dj its not for me. I use tadalafil
for my ed problems but they give me headaches and upset stomach. just getting me down at moment ...
Hello Dj manic
So remembering none of us are medically trained:
* The "bulging tumour". The hormone therapy will have reduced your testosterone and thus put the cancer to sleep - therefore the status quo should remain - the radiotherapy will kill off the sleeping cancer cells.
* The "lack of climax" is a side effect of the Hormone therapy - but remember your testosterone is restricted - count yourself lucky, whilst on hormone therapy I didn't even think about sex, never mind being able to obtain an erection!
I hope this helps.
Best wishes - Brian.
