I am still struggling with side effects after treatment ended about three years ago. I wondered if anyone else had the same experience as the GP is unable to help.
Main issues are
- unable to sleep
Banging in ears
Still getting up at night
Electric shock type feeling in soles of feet and fingers
Itchy skins
All the GP has done is prescribe anti depressants and I am exhausted. Any ideas?
Thank you
Hello Itchy A warm welcome to online Community - I am so sorry to find you here.
Yes, I still get up 2/3 times in the night - par for the course I think - a combination of HT/Old age. The itchy skin one was 4 months of hell for me - the GP tried all sorts of creams - and in the end "Aproderm" on prescription sorted that out. It's only an idea but 2 things you could do are:
* Pop the question to our Nurses - Ask a Nurse - just use the link - it may take a couple of days for an answer.
* Give our helpline a ring on 0808 808 00 00 (8am to 8pm 7 days a week).
I hope the above helps - Best wishes - Brian.
