This is for anyone who can't keep on the topic.  It's hard not to stray, but if we have 'no specific topic ' we can't go off topic.

It is good just to be able to wander and talk about other things.

I could have named it 'Waffle'.  Then I couldn't go off topic.

  • I reckon possibly They came in green tubes, were green dependent on flavour, and they were soft so that you chewed them rather than sucked. They had a crunchy shell.

I found them very moreish, so I had regular experiences of "Oh look, I've eaten them all. Now I'm going to sh*t for a fortnight".

I stopped eating them when I started driving for a living.

    Changed, but not diminished.
  • The green ones were the best... very moreish.  The "Extra Strong Mints" were my favourite, especially when I was a paperboy (I wasn't made of paper...).

  • We were supposed to be staying in Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire for 7 nights at one of the National Trust lodges, but when we arrived yesterday there were a few Ant ants running around in the kitchen.  This morning there were loads of them.  Normal Ant ants we can handle.  Then this afternoon, it was like a swarm of flying Antants.

Have you noticed, every time I try to write the word ant... I get Ant ).

We had to drive a couple of miles to get a signal so we could phone for someone from the National Trust to come and have a look.

Someone came out straight away and we were told we couldn't stay anymore because of the infestation of the flying Ant ants.

We asked if anywhere else nearby was free.  Nope!  But the big cottage at Tattershall Castle in Lincolnshire was available for our other 6 nights.

We stayed there last November, wow!  So we are here now... with a signal... with free WiFi... with Tracey... what more can I want!

What I was originally going to say about the Ant ants was 'we had lots of 'nunkles' all over the place!  What is a 'nunkle' you ask yourself... it's the wife of an uncle!

Who said I was going crazy!
