Hi all,

An advert here for anyone interested in joining the Prostate Cancer Support Group at Maggie's in Newcastle.  We meet once a month (on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm).

It's good to speak to others all with the same thing in common.  All at different levels of treatment, so I find it really interesting.

It can give you a boost just when you need it.

  • Morning Debby,

Nice to hear from you.  John is getting around a bit isn't he?  He loves yo to bits, I can tell how he talks about you.  Well, he doesn't  'talk' about you! (Ever get the feeling you are digging yourself a hole!).

My hot flushes have now left the building.  I think the Hormones have finally gone!  Wednesday was a full calendar year in Remission! Woo-Hoo!

Me and Ulls always on the forum, never, well only if the day ends in a 'y'.

  • Debby, you can get Acupuncture or Indian Head massages too.  Tracey, my partner had some of the Indian Head massages when I had my Acupuncture.

I am still getting counselling through them now.  Mentally, way up in the clouds, physically, way down!  This Sunday I get a Brain MRI and 2 Back MRI's, investigating my falls.

  • You so make me laugh Steve. Thanks Dx

  • Debby, it's what gets me through the day.  I was always the School joker (yes I did go to school).  You should try the Indian Head Massages.  Tracey thought they were ok, not as good as a proper one in India.  We both used to get Ayurvedic Massages in India and Sri Lanka.  A bit oily, (well, a lot oily, and smelly, nice smelly).
