At my radiotherapy sessions I have to drink 1.2 litre of water which is no problem but come nighttime I'm getting up 5 or 6 times to go to the loo is this normal.
Hello Safeways
The Radiotherapy did increase my frequency but not to that extent. (I was on the empty bowel empty bladder radiotherapy too!!)
You need to have a word with the Radiologists before your next fraction - there is medication available to help this.
Best wishes - Brian

I am a Macmillan volunteer.
My treatment is booked for 13.15 but if I'm early they will start me sooner, the first day though I wasn't finished till 1700hrs, a long day.
Second day was fine.
My third day was stopped after two sessions on the machine, first time my bladder wasn't full, I ended up having to drink 1.05 litres of water in total, second go was gas in my rectum.
I have wondered if the change in drinking water could be a problem.
That seems reasonably early in the day. I drink a reasonable amount of water each day but even if I stop at 6pm I seem to pee 3 or 4 times a night. I remember drinking water during the day after my RT sessions and think the team told me to keep hydrated. Not sure what else to advise. Best wishes David
