Hi

Hubby had another phone call appt yesterday with Oncologist nurse and his psa has reduced again from 1.1 to 0.1

Both so relieved...just need the number to stay low a long long time now.

Best wishes to everyone

  • We have the Oncologist tomorrow to finally find out what the plan is . Stress levels through the roof as it’s been a very long haul since March . On a positive note though OH PSE is down to 0.4 . So fingers cross he is offered choices this time and me not put on the naughty step for taking a list of questions . I have more to ask so the Oncologist will just need to accept this is how I function .

    thank you

    Liz & OH X

  • 0.4 is fantastic news!

It has been a long time and it takes over doesn't it.

Good luck tomorrow,  let us know how you get on.

  • Good news Amanda. Keep fighting.

  • All the best for today's meeting Liz, fingers and toes crossed for you. Good news about the PSA. Let us know what the plan is.

  • Thank you!

The last time I noted an update, you mentioned figures and I think husband had had a 62% reduction?

Would you.know what this new figure translated to?

Sorry to bother you but I am hopeless at maths!!!

Thank you ever so much x

  • Good Morning Amanda ( and Liz &OH (

Good news all around about low PSA results - well done everyone - let's keep them down there.

I wish you well today Liz at the meeting - I hope you get all your answers and a treatment plan today. I have everything crossed for you.

    Best wishes - Brian.

  • WOW. A 96.5% reduction in the last 2.5 months and a 99.88% reduction since initial diagnosis. Try and find out if the 0.1 has a < sign before it as this would mean it is undetectable.

Apart from this fantastic news, how are you both coping now with the Triplet Therapy?

  • Oh my goodness,  that's good right?

We next speak to the nurse in early December so will ask about < then.

We are both doing quite well considering where we were in April when he was first diagnosed.  It is always there in the background but what you, and everyone else has said has come to pass ie you get used to a new normal.

It was fantastic to read the great news about your husband as well, you both must feel relieved.
