Thanks Steve yes only had 1 m.r.i a few months ago 

So I think the next MRI is important, obviously u wouldn't want to see a big increase in tumour size.

suppose they will offer 1 year after the first.

Perhaps start pushing for one when u get to 8/9 months  but probably could depend on what happens to PSA

Looking at your PSA history prob not a lot will happen in terms of increase

I have been on AS for over 7 years. My stats are similar to yours and I think we are the same age.

I have been close to having treatment a few times but decided against it.

I'm now on 6 monthly PSA tests and MRI every 2 years.

Your MRI showing 1mm was some years ago , have u had one since?

Hi Steve. Yes I've had 6 MRIs in total. The latest one said equivocal for tumour (3/5) 0.2cc but in a different sector.

Hi Michael. Yes it became less stressful as time went on. It is the new normal. At our age you have to expect some issues to appear.

Actually Gleason 6 is something you just need to keep an eye on and it could have been worse.
