Dear friends you can probably guess that I am relatively new to this group only being diagnosed 2 weeks ago today with some bone spread. Up until now in have never noticed blood in my urine but this morning when I took my safety overnight tena pad off I noticed a few spots of blood. Should I really expect this occasionally as par for the course. I will mention it to my cancer team but I wanted to get your experience
Hello Skippy1959 I do hope you are finding the Community a big help - we do try our best and we are here for you 24 hours a day - whatever is bothering you feel free to stick up a post or start a new thread. It's OUR Community and we have all "been there and done that". With any cancer it's so easy to have "dark days/ off days and worry and stress come with the diagnosis - you still have to get on with life even though you have cancer - and it's not easy!!
Can I suggest you give our support line a ring at any point if you are feeling low or vulnerable or just want a chat to talk through any issues.. It's a free call and there is plenty of help and extra support available - 0808 808 00 00 (8am - 8pm 7 days a week).
I do hope you don't mind my suggestion - but it's OUR Community and we look after our own!!
Best wishes - Brian.
