Enzalutamide/ xtandi 40mg

It's natural to want to know what treatment options there will be if the drug you're currently on stops working.

Iam on the same treatment, although I have advanced PC. Once I had the chemo and radiotherapy I went on to prostap three monthly injections, now over four years later I’am on enzalutamide, when they started me on this, I always asked what’s the plan B if this does not work, there’s a few options, Aberaterone with prednisone or radium 223, or chemo again which might be a different one to docetaxel.

Also there are a few trials out there that you can enlist for, if none of the other treatments are not available you need to ask, 127 is fairly high have you been given chemo ? Or radiotherapy ? Look up what’s new out there on the web, but go to reputable sites.

Thanks for your reply and information I will soon find out my situation as my consultant is ringing me on the 21st my PSA is now 175

Thats a fairly fast rise, when I consulted with my oncologist, he gave a few options like I mentioned, write down all you want to ask him/her ready for the call, it’s easy to let things slip your mind once they start talking, you need to know what’s next.
