Light at the end of the tunnel

Hi all

seems to have been a lot happening in past 2 months whilst I have been off line.

it is just over 2 years now since I  as diagnosed and yes I have been through chemo, operations and avastin. Last treatment early November and so far so good. I will know more on Friday after I see the consultant.

However I have had a lovely Xmas followed by a 6  week cruise to the Caribbean and the Amazon. A bit tired at times but I didn’t catch the cough lots of people had and was generally quite well. Getting more active has helped. So I feel really positive. Only downside was the huge cost of insurance £1200 plus an £800 excess but it was 42 days and a cruise and touched the edge of America so a small price to pay to enable me to go away.

So if all seems grey at the members and believe you me I have had those times I hope you can see a little chink of light.  At least spring is on the way despite the snow I have a lovely show of heathers and an occasional burst of sunshine. These are today’s positives.

good luck all
