Hello,

I'm new to this site.

My wife has pancreatic cancer and the last scan showed that the tumor in the pancreas had not grown , also the spot she had on her liver had almost gone,she still has a small spot on her lung . I am now wondering why she feels very tired and weak to the point where she feels she is getting worse not better. How can this be ?.

Welcome to this website where none of us want to be. I’m sorry to hear about your wife. We are not medically qualified so those of us who post here can only offer our own experience either as Carers or as patients.

Is your wife using Creon?

Also if you haven’t already done so you might like to ring the nurses on the Pancreatic Cancer UK website. They are experts and may be able to offer advice.

Hello,

Yes she is using Creon and we have been in touch with specialist nurses . Just can't seem to figure this out so i will talk to the specialist nuses again.

i think that people’s experience with PC varies. Some people have pain and others do not. As you suggest it’s worth another chat with specialist nurses.
