Hi about 4 months ago i got told i was diabetic . I am afraid i have pancreatic cancer
Hi Carolinenan and a very warm welcome to the group which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've recently learnt that you are diabetic and now you're afraid you have pancreatic cancer. My husband was diagnosed with borderline operable pancreatic cancer a year ago and is currently on a break from chemotherapy. What has your GP said about the possibility of you having pancreatic cancer?
Anne
Hello and thank you Has not mention anything about it
Sorry, I meant when you went to see your GP about the possibility of having pancreatic cancer, what tests, etc has your GP arranged or did he just try to reassure you that you don't have this cancer?
Sorry i have not seen my GP i am taken care of by the diabetic nurse . Sorry
Please do make an appointment to see your GP about your pancreatic cancer concerns. They will then refer you to specialists if they feel it's necessary.
Do let me know how you get on.
