I am currently having a large cyst being investigated.
At my first scan which diagnosed the cyst I was told it was a small fluid filled cyst which would probably go away by 12 week follow up scan.
I had the 12 week follow up scan and the cyst was still there and was bigger. I've had regular periods since.
I went for original scan due to severe abdominal pain during ovulation and bad bloating. At the same time my symptoms started, I got plantar fasciitis in my left foot (same side as ovary with cyst) and had it for about 9 months now, and not getting any better despite doing all the exercises given by podiatrist. I've got some ankle and lower leg swelling on left leg.
Has anyone with an ovarian cancer diagnosis had this? I am worried it isnt just coincidence that both started at the same time as I've heard ovarian cancer can affect legs and feet?
