I am concerned and worried , my monthly blood results have come back and for the second month in a row my kappa light chain numbers have gone up . I have had six rounds of VTD , which has been reduced in strength due to other related issues . I was due for stem cell harvesting at the end of this month , but have been told by consultant that this is now not going to happen until maybe October with the SCT in November or December . The delay is due to to the unit being fully booked . So I have got to have two more cycles of chemo . The consultant spook to me before the blood results came back ,so I could not talk to him about this .Has any body else had their light chain numbers increase while on treatment ? And has any body had eight rounds of chemo before SCT ?
