Hi there just going through some anxiety mode sometimes, im getting scared of travelling too far some ,worries some may happen to me . I started to feel that way since at the beginning of this year and not before since I was diagnosed in 2020 ,I don't know if there are some people out there experiencing the same stuff, let me know guys.
Hi Tito
I too suffer from anxiety, but try to not let it rule my life.
I am always far worse in a morning, and it usually eases by the afternoon. I don’t know why, but I do not take any medication for it. I can go to bed feeling perfectly well and then a few hours later, after sleep, I feel, sometimes dreadful.
I have had support from MacMillan, via telephone calls, and that has taught me coping techniques.
If I have to go out anywhere, I always get very anxious, but usually find afterwards, I am almost euphoric that I have achieved what I set out to do and remain unscathed.
I know we are dealing with a lot, but so are many people, and I try and tell myself, it’s not just me.
Have you had any support at all?
Regards
Jayne
I just thought it worth mentioning that MM treatments don't 'just' affect the body: they can cause mood changes.
For example, when I was on active treatment, I often got depressed in the evening. It felt artificial, as there was no real underlying emotion.
