Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2b melanoma in November, I had wle and slnb. Lymph nodes clear and I had a ct scan. Saw the consultant this week who said that there was a spot on my liver, radiologists state it’s a hemanginoma but consultant has ordered an mri for peace of mind. Anyone else experienced anything like this?
After initial diagnosis I did go private as I had waiting 6 weeks for what should have been a 2 week referral.

I was diagnosed with Stage 2a melanoma nearly 7 years ago now and also had clear lymph nodes. When I was diagnosed CT scans weren't routinely used if the WLE and SLNB results were clear so I haven't had one.
However, there are others in the group who will have had CT scans and hopefully they'll come forward to share their experiences with you, especially if something was seen on their liver.
