Welcome to everyone who's joined during the last month although I'm sorry you've had to find us.

If you haven't posted yet and want to ask a question just click on Start A Discussion, which you'll see near the top of the page, or reply to this post. There are people here at all different stages of melanoma, so lots of experience available.

Another way of looking for information is to use the search bar near the top of the page to search for old threads covering what you're looking for.

If you haven't yet completed your profile when you have a minute could you pop something about your journey so far into it as it really helps others when answering. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

When you reply to someone it can be useful if you know how to 'tag' them so that they get an email telling them they've had a reply. The following is a link to an easy step by step guide to tell you how to do this.

For those of you waiting for results remember to come back and tell us how you get on!

  • Many thanks for your welcome post. I am happy to have found this site. :)

  • Hi and welcome to the online community although I'm sorry you've had to find us.

Everyone in the group is really friendly and willing to share their experiences with you. If you have any questions just start a new thread and, more than likely, someone will have had the same experience and will be able to help you.

I noticed in your profile (a big thanks for filling it in) that you have problems with lymphoedema. There is a nurse in the ask an expert section who specialises in this so you could pick her brains if you wanted to. Depending on what type of device you're using either scroll to the right or bottom of this page to see the link to her.
