Hi everyone
my partner has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer and oncologist has referred him for sirt treatment as he is not suitable for a resection can anyone help with waiting times as we are anxious about the cancer spreading while he waits also I would love to hear about anyone previously had sirt for primary liver cancer.

I can't help with what are the normal waiting times to have SIRT as I haven't had this procedure but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Replying to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted. If you don't get any response you could post this question in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 3 working days.
I typed 'SIRT' into the group search bar at the top of the page and did find some previous posts which mention this treatment. If you do the same you could have a read through them to see other people's experiences.
