Hi folks Suffolkflyer here, back in hospital after my usual CT scan and prior blood test on 2/8 22. Been feeling absolute rubbish and legs losing all strength. Got an out of hours telephone call on 3/8/22 telling me l had an unusual liver function reading ?( deranged liver function after normal) and to contact my own DR.
Did that and at 1400 on 4/8/22 was told by DR that l had been accepted as an in patient by Basildon MEDICAL TEAM and MEDICALLY ACCEPTED as in-patient. Ha ha .
l turned up, letter in hand but had to take lotto ticket No 69 they were calling No40 !!!!. At 2100 l had to stage a dramatic collapse to bring attention to myself and got wheeled into see DR and admitted at 0200. 12hrs afer initial entry.
Since then moved ward 3 times. "Good" news, sort of , is that a DR saw gall stones in CT scan of 2/8/22 and was pretty certain that "deranged liver" was caused by that. We'll see!
I suppose my main reason for starting this is to see if any one can share any similar experience. It has caused a great deal of anxiety which as we all know is not resuired on top of our conditions.
I have gone from a jokey type of person to deeply cynical and need some boosting from my friends in the Kidnry Can Forum. Wish me well, please. Adrian Sufgolkflyer
Thanks Sandra, l was so happy to receive all responses. Did me a power of good. I am on some anti biotics which appear to be kicking
So here is hoping. I'm in the best place at the moment for treatment. Fortunately my rettiever is well trained and is a joy for my wife to take out. Lucky girl. I hope you are as well as can be expected. Love to everyone. Adrian xxxx
Hi folks just a quick selfish update. A liver duct is blocked. Will be putting in stent if they can find a suitable location which should have a "dramatic effect". Let's hope. Amazing how a little bit of good news which you can build on, can improve your spirit. Anyway thanks everyone for helping me out. What would we do without you all.Love from Adrian ( Suffolkflyer )
