  • Glad to hear you are home again. It sounds as if you are doing well. I found that going for short walks really helped so I hope the weather improves to make that possible for you. I had my op nearly a year ago. Best wishes.

Hi ksjo450 . I had my left kidney removed in Oct 2019. I had the op on the Wednesday and went home on the Friday Blush Personally I didnt have any probs at all after the op.Ok ,to be expected , it was sore in the area so care had to be taken when moving about but I was up and wandering about the morning after. Ive found invaluable help in this group when I was first diagnosed and ever since. A very friendly place to come to, even if its just to say 'hello'Blush The thread ' take three things' was a great focus for me at the time. It still is and is well worth a look at Blush.( sorry, dont know how to link it here) Tc and let us know how you get on x

Many thanks for the reply - good to hear positive news. When I tell people ( not that many!), the reply is always - pity / sad smile/ asking if it’s treatable or not & then a Story about someone tThumbsup tone2know who’s died of a cancer . Talk about Positive!!!!  That’s just not me so I’ve stopped telling people as I’m just getting on with it & am lucky enough to be symptom free so far . I will look foThumbsup tone2at Thread Thumbsup tone2
