Hi all, just back from seeing consultant and I will be starting Pazopanib next week. 800 mg to start with. Any info as to foods to avoid, I know about grapefruit. Also any info as to the best time of day to take the tablets. All information gratefully received.

  • Hi

I haven't had pazopanib as a treatment but I noticed that your post hadn't had any responses yet.

If you type 'pazopanib' into the search bar at the top of the screen you'll find quite a few previous posts which discuss it. You could have a look through those to see if you can find the information you're asking about.

I have found this information from Macmillan on pazopanib. If you have a look through it you'll see that it gives information on when you should take it and what foods to avoid.

I'm also tagging this group's Community Champion  as she will hopefully be able to help you further.

Wishing you all the best with your treatment

  • Hi @isn436

I take my Pazopanib last thing at night, though I know some ppl in this group take theirs in the morning, eg

I think as long as you take it at the same time each day and remember to take it an hour before or 2 hours after food that should suffice, tho I must admit I've not read the info @latchbrook  rrefers to.
