Dear , , ,
Welcome to the Kidney cancer group although it is obviously not a place any of us would have liked to have found ourselves. It's been a little quiet on here recently including buttercup01, community champion who covers this group, having a few problems posting.
if you want to start a discussion please feel free to do so, quite a lot of people check for posts fairly regularly so it would not be long before someone responds.
It can be helpful if you fill out your profile as people often check them out before replying. If you click on anyones user name it allows you to read what they have written about themselves. If you click on your own username it takes you to the profile page and if you click on the edit profile button you can complete your profile. You can go back and edit it as and when you want.
You refer to your mood changes in yours Paul and certainly this is something I can relate to. I still have my moments when everything is rubbish. I have found that I need to embrace this and have what a lot of us describe as a pity party. Once I have acknowledged how crap everything is I can then move on and get back to feeling more positive. It doesn't happen as frequently as it used to but it can be a bit deeper now than it used to be. It is easier if I have something positive to look forward to such as a holiday. However, that has been a bit more of a struggle during the current lock down.
I look forward to talking to you all soon. All the best.

Hi , @paulb76, ,@buttercup01 here. Thanks for mentioning me Gragon
Yes, I have had trouble posting lately. Hope it's sorted now!
Like Gragon, I find it easier when I've something to look forward to but my holiday was due to happen at Easter and has been postponed until the hotel reopens. It's a hotel specifically for ppl with long term conditions so they'll have to find out what the govt thinks to them re opening.
Fingers crossed, as I'd really like to get some sea air, having been shielding for 3 months..
Sue
