Hi folks
I just wanted to say to everyone Take care and hold on. Everything is going to be challenging us in a way that most of us have never known but this horribleness will not last forever.
The fact that we have all experienced the challenges that cancer throws at us (to greater or lesser degrees) means that many of us are already fragile and all this on top could easily seem like just too much. In some cases some of these experiences can also make us stronger in ways that might not be immediately obvious.
There is a community of people on this site which can help even with just a word of advice, comfort or information and common sense( Something which can be as hard to find as toilet roll sometimes)
I am lucky in that I have had surgery a month ago and am now feeling quite well considering if still tired and sore. I know many are not so lucky and I send them my very best wishes.
I hope this does not sound trite or patronising as it was not intended that way.
Take care and an endless thank you to everyone involved in caring just now -it has never been more important.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
