I had my kidney removed 3 years ago due to renal cell carcinoma , so with all the news breaking about coronavirus & the government stressing that vulerable people should self isolate for up to 12 weeks are people with one kidney classed as one of these people as the virus does attack the kidneys.
Hi ,
one of the members in another group provided this link to Cancer Research UK. click here It gives really clear guidance and it appears that providing you are not currently in treatment then, unless you have one of the listed cancers, you are not advised to self isolate. If you are unsure you should check the NHS advice online or if you cannot find anything then ring the NHS 111 phoneline.
All the best,
Gragon
