Hi guys.
I went to my nephrectomy follow-up appointment this aft , I was phoned yesterday as they had a cancellation. The kidney cyst was cancerous, an aggressive rare cancer and thankfully they were able to remove it all. They took 2 lymph nodes which were also tested and the results on those were negative. So, I dont need any other treatment apart from being monitored every few months by ct scans and blood tests. I feel so relieved. Now I can focus on recovery from the op and putting some much needed weight back on.
I am so thankful I found you guys when I did. Your help, advice and friendship has been invaluable and truly helped me get through these past months. I can't thank you all enough. I'm staying as a member and will pop back in now and again to see how you all are and to let you know how I get on with the scans. Love to you all xx
So pleased to hear your news Ethelmay. Wishing you lots of clear CT scans for many years to come!! Xxx
Thanks guys Fingers well and truly crossed
