Got my op date!

Hi Ethelmay, so glad u have an op date. Not so long to wait now x

I don't think I've ever received a phone call from my hospital and don't think anyone works in admin there after about 4.30pm.  I would certainly panic for a while if I got a phone call from them.

Having said that it is good that you have a date for your pre-op and that the operation is scheduled so soon afterwards.

I wouldn't panic, as while I was waiting for my second operation, I did get a call out of hours.  At least you are a little nearer.

Thanks Ormebeau and Gragon. I hate evening phonecalls, my gp has done it too, 8.30 one evening! I try to be well into a stress free zone by that time ! I now jump everytime the landline rings. Twice I've asked the  hospital to take me off their appointment reminder phonecall list too. I do so hope it has worked this time. As if I need a reminder a week before my appt. As if I'm going to forget??

Hi Ethelmay, wishing you loads of luck for the op.  Am 4 weeks after mine now, seems unreal. I kind of went to ground after it, just all so overwhelming. I just withdrew for a while. Sending you positivity and love xxxx

Good luck ethelmay hope all goes well take it easy ,I go for my histology on that date it's my follow up appointment ...I've only waited 3 months !!!
