Came over here from the bladder cancer group. I have had 3 TURBTs and have been told it has spread into the ureters. I have a date for laser treatment on the 11th October. Spoke to the CNS and she said its an overnight stay, no catheter but probably a stent.
Can anyone give me more information on recovery time and general well being after the operation.
Hi
I'm afraid I can't answer your question but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies yet. If you type 'ureter' into the search bar in this group you will find some previous posts that mention it but most of them are quite old. However, when I typed 'ureter' into the bladder cancer group I came up with lots of 'hits' so it may be an idea to post your question there as well.
Wishing you all the best with your treatment.

Thanks for your reply Latchbrook. I have had a bit of a look through the suggested posts but havn't found much so far. I have a pre op on Monday so I will find out more then. Seems its not a common cancer and as I understand I must have low grade to be receiving laser treatment and not surgery so I am thankful for that.
