Hi everyone,
Please find here a link to a thread that I have started in the incurables group. I am arranging a meet up in York as the title indicates and the details are on that thread. Anyone is welcome but if you are intending to attend can you let me know via the original thread in the Incurables group or I shall lose track of how many are attending and who they are.
Thank you,
Gragon xx
Hi All,
Just a reminder that there is to be a members meet up in York on April 6th for anyone that is interested in attending. Although the thread started on the incurables group it is open to anyone on the Mac site but in order to keep track of who is attending I would be grateful if people expressed their interest on the incurables group. As it is not a thread about an issue I have had no objections from anyone to non incurables going onto the group for this so do not be put off by posting on that group on this occasion.
The link on the post above will take you directly to the thread and details. It is generally a casual and social get together with the opportunity to talk face to face with others who have had a shared experience.
I hope to see some of you there.

Hi All,
Just to mention that the meet up in York is this coming Saturday. If you are anxious about attending on your own then you are more than welcome to bring a friend or family member along. My previous experience is that everyone is very welcoming and pleased to have the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation.
Although the meet ups are advertised as being two hours the ones I have attended have actually lasted four to five hours once people started talking and people only left when they had to begin their journey home.
For anyone that is hoping to attend I have requested tables at the right had side of the pub as you look at it quite near that door to the kitchen as there are no tv's there (it is Grand National day). I will also be putting some Macmillan balloons on the tables so that everyone can see where we are sitting.
I hope to see some of you there.
