Hi how do people cope with all the waiting around im a very anxious person anyway and all this is stressing me im on my own a lot of the time so no support
I am supposed to be having a hysterectomy on the 6th jan but im waiting for my biopsy for my tongue and not sure which to dealy the ent said can do the biopsy local but of inconclusiveor cant do it wud have to be general sp cant really be having 2 anathetics ..the ent did say it didnt look suspiciois and was a cyst then notes said slight assymetry base left tongue so im all confused i also have seen that some people eho have tongue cancer also have earache and i have this on and off
Im not sure what to do aboit my op everyone saying have the op then do the biopsy when recovered but what if the tongue is more serious even though he did saynit dosnt look suspiculioud what are all your thoughts ,the thought tongue cancer scares me
Heavens.....You haven't mentioned the hysterectomy before. Why are you having that? My thoughts would be if that wasn't to treat cancer I would get the tongue biopsy first. I suppose it's not in the NHS's capability to do both at once.
As for waiting....all you can do is try to keep busy. It's hard time.

More consumed with the tongue the thought of the op caused me lots of stress causing all these symptoms the hysterectomy for hyperplasia so cud wait ,the ent confused me by telling me a cyst and that didnt look suspicious and then on the reposrt putting the aysmetrical on the tongue does that still mean it can be a cyst im so confued and going to be weeks of waiting im trying to destress but its hard as i have autistic son whos going to look after him if i have to have tongue op it looks horrific and heads up to all you having it or had it
Asymmetrical just means it doesn’t look the same each side. If there is a cyst there that’s why.
