Hi all,
I am nearly 69, waiting and waiting for diagnosis of what might be sinus cancer, I fear.. It started last November with persistent blockage on left side, at upper jaw level, and in Dec moved to swollen glands on left side and feeling as if cold was coming up. GP thought it was an infection, gave antibiotic which I took mid Jan, and two days later woke up with swollen face, whole left side. As it was Saturday, I called and went to A&E.. To cut a long story short, I only just had CT (pantonogram in Feb showed a shadow) and now I wait for my appointment mid May, with Oral & Maxil... surgeon. I feel awful! Today I browsed sinus cancer and, bingo, I have all, but none from descriptions mentions any general body feelings, so decided to ask you! How did your body feel before you were diagnosed..? Were you just your usual and your cancer was very much local or all was going worst..? Can you tell me, please?
Thank you!
I felt absolutely fit as a fiddle when I was diagnosed. I bit my tongue and an ulcer appeared. But it wasn't an ulcer it was a small tumour. I bit it Jan two weeks later at dentist two weeks later at max fax all very fast. Biting my tongue saved my life the max fax told me. But besides that I was super fit . Oncologist said he thinks I was the earliest they have ever seen. Sending hugs xx

Exactly!
All goes like that, other than with my chest tumour with which I opted for periodic monitoring because my spine falls and despite 13 scans in total no treatment yet...
I am nearly 70 now. I think they do not bother.
I am exhausted!
It's just left side of my face, head really. Goes from above eye down by nostril to jaw and neck. Eye blurs. Swells above lip, feels like dropping, num-bish, pain to ear and behind, sometimes sharp. Burns. There are days eye and nose drips non stop, next day fine. Just left side.
CT = no tumour. Looked with that torch on his head. Said there is nothing.
