  • Hi Peter you can’t put a price on a good  team. Ian a guy who I was in touch with 2028 was also treated at nine wells Dundee. We’re still in touch almost 5 years on for me. Any questions just ask.

  • Thanks Peter

Pleased you have a good team behind you. You hear so much about the state of our Health Services...particularly here in Wales and in Scotland...both being in a pretty parlous state. Mine were and still are absolutely wonderful.

    Best wishes

  • Hi, Peter, I'm sure it really does make a big difference, having have good team who care and you can trust, behind you, the team who dealt with me were brilliant, they always listened to any worries I had, and responded to them if need be. I can't thank my team and the NHS enough for my treatment, and the care they gave me. All the best for the rest of your treatment.

    Regards Ray.

Hi Biker (I used have a Beemer K1  among others..Many others!)

Just back from radioT...had an appointment with Ninewells Oncologoy Triage team for PEG issues ..no messing straight to the crux of the matter....everything taken care of while I was being zapped...results and meds supplied ...on my way home in under 1.5 hrs....cheered me up no end

Amazing dedication from these NHS professionals.

  • Hi Peter,  I am pleased to hear that you are progressing well with your treatment. I had a RIG tube fitted prior to my RT/CT and became totally reliant on it for my Fortisips when I could no longer eat normally. I also had some issues with it and had an ongoing mild infection at the site which I daily bathed with salt water . Unfortunately it did not respond to antibiotics and antifungals. I also used Softpore pads to reduce the friction at the site.

All the best for the rest of your treatment.
