Hi, im new here,my name is brews, good to hear you getting better, my story is i had chemo and 30 sessions of radiotherapy for tongue cancer,  i have difficulty eating because of dry mouth, i just wondered if it will ever be normal again

Hi you it does take time I also had chemotherapy  and 30 rounds of radiotherapy too had last 2 weeks of treatment in hospital due to sickness from chemotherapy had blood transfusion chest infection , urine infection and after all this time dry month is on improving done 8 months later some foods still taste not quite right ice cream and strawberry taste like they have salt on them. Pleased believe me you will get there best wishes

Yes. It just takes time. How far out of RT are you ? 

Hi I finished RT at the end of January and had my final pet scan in End of May and got the all clear this all started last September.

Its been 3 months

You will get better 3 months is still early you will be surprised in a month or so. You will have a day without dry mouth and think great am better than next day its back but mys are really getting better, you can do this we've done the hard
