Hi guys

I have been urgently referred under 2 week wait again after previously being seen and given the ok. I have a slit on the roof of my mouth that won’t heal in the hard palate. I have raised lymph nodes but have been reassured these are reactive nodes. Anyone recognise these symptoms please very worried thanks to google. I’m only 37 with small children. Thanks x

Thanks hazel, gutted to be back here, but you guys were so helpful on my last journey. I feel this is just extended from my last visit as same side. Will push for a biopsy this time I think, even to just put my own mind at rest. X

  • Hi Doris. Please do not listen to Dr Google.

It's only three months since you were last seen by ENT and the chances of anything malignant popping up in that time are pretty small and again your age is in your favour. I'm afraid you know about the waiting bit and it's hard but focus on the family and the likelihood this is nothing. Who referred you, your GP or dentist, by the way.

    Best wishes
