I’m waiting to start my treatment in a couple of weeks.  My C is all on the left hand side.  Last couple of days I have soreness on my right side and swelling in the lymph node there now.
does anyone have experience of anything similar.
My diagnosis after scans is T2N1M0

just worried or may be spreading or am I paranoid?

  • Hi Samantha. After my scans I was sure there was something they had missed in the other side. There wasn’t even though I had pain there. The mind plays all sorts of tricks and you’re not paranoid. With such early disease spread to the other side is rare but just do mention your concern to your CNS.
    Fingers crossed it’s nothing

  • Hi Samantha. Probably paranoid we all have same thoughts. Like Dani says  just mention it. You’ll be having another even more than likely before treatment starts. You’ve not had your mask done yet have you ?
plus you are probably over compensating chewing more on non cancer dude subconsciously .

once treatment starts things fall into place and your head goes to a better space.

  • Another one here who was utterly convinced they had something in the other side of their neck (my post treatment scan was clear)

I was also convinced my origonal neck tumour had started to grow back after treatment as it was throbbing (again the pet scan was clear)

I think lots of us feel these sore spots and we are all understandably extremely aware of them

I would still mention it, but imagine it is fine.
