Well I have my pet CT scan on Wednesday ,will take a diazepam as chrostophobic.
Get my results the 13 th August.

The PET/CT scanner is only like a big donut, not a tunnel like the MRI scanner and the scan itself takes only minutes, so it should be bearable. When I went for my PET scan I had to wait an hour while the radioactive glucose permeated my tissues. You have to keep still, though I was allowed to read, and the waiting room was chilly so my advice would be to take something to read and something warm to wear, just in case. My phone didn't work as I was behind several feet of concrete. Good luck, you will be fine XX
